220 miles From Colorado!!!!
I heard from Mac today and was so excited and needed the pick me up! Treatments have been hard, and this is normal; after it settles down and my body adjusts things will get better. And think about it this mirrors Mac's Days. Some days are going to be harder than others and it will take a huge toll on his body as he has mentioned in a prior video! Which if you have not checked out you have to! I crack up and love the music!!!! Good news is he just crested the highest Peak in New Mexico, Mount Taylor! I'm hoping he had a chance to just take in the scenery and rest a moment. His strength and tenacity is what helps me through! Staying positive for both of us! Go and check out Mac’s YouTube channel and see his latest video – link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6AYFSgDxIM His update is below… Yesterday evening I made it to Doc Campbell’s only to be a little tardy as they had closed shortly before my arrival. BUT much to my surprise the owner’s of DCP let me in to get my resupply box full of goodies and let me run a tab for all the other odds and ends I needed! Mike and his family were the most gracious hosts letting us camp for free, take showers, do laundry and soak up the WIFI. They have everything there and if you ever want to see the Gila Cliff Dwellings please stop in and tell them I said HELLO while perusing the wares of DCP. After two half days at DCP and taking care of all my hiker business I set out to see the Gila Cliff Dwellings and try to make it to Jordon Hot Springs. I was unsuccessful in the later however the cliff dwellings are a sight to see! It was the highlight of the trip but then again every day I experience something is the new highlight! ADIOS!
